Data Subject Rights Policy

What information we may hold
Depending on your interaction with our products and services, we may hold:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Product license key(s)
- Support correspondence (if you have contacted us)
- Data Subject Rights request history (non-personal audit records)
We do not intentionally collect unnecessary personal information. Your product data (gifts, plans, etc.) lives on your own device and is not transmitted to or stored by Guv1 Digital.
Your rights
You may submit one of three types of request:
Review my data
If your identity is successfully verified, we will provide a summary of the personal information we currently hold about you, including your name, email address, license key(s), and whether support correspondence exists.
Update my data
You may request updates to your name or email address if they are inaccurate or have changed. Please review your changes carefully before submitting them. Changes immediately replace the information currently held in our systems and cannot be automatically reversed.
Delete my data
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time. Once completed:
- Your name and email address will be permanently removed or anonymised.
- Personal identifiers within support correspondence will be removed where reasonably practicable.
- Your software license key(s) will remain valid but will no longer be associated with your identity.
Important: Because we will no longer know who owns those license keys, our ability to provide ownership-based customer support or recover licensing information may be limited. Deletion requests cannot be reversed.
Identity verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised requests, we verify ownership of the email address associated with your request before any information is disclosed, updated, or deleted.
When you submit a request, we will send a verification link to the email address you provide. You must click that link to confirm your identity before your request is processed.
If we cannot verify your identity, we may be unable to process your request. You will receive an email notification and may submit a new request if you believe an error has occurred.
Timeframes
- Verification links are valid for 7 days from the time they are sent.
- Reminder emails may be sent before the link expires.
- Requests that remain unverified for 30 days are automatically closed.
- A new request may be submitted at any time.
Once your identity is verified, most requests are completed immediately.
Your request reference
Each request receives a unique reference number (format: DSR-XXXXXXXX-XXXX). This reference is included in all emails related to your request. Keep it if you need to follow up.
Transparency
We publish anonymous, aggregated statistics showing the number of Data Subject Rights requests received and processed during the previous twelve months. These statistics never contain personal information and are available on our website.
