In short: When you purchase a Guv1 Digital Product, you are purchasing the right to use that Product — not ownership of the underlying software, templates, documents, content, or intellectual property. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups, reviewing information generated by tools (including AI-assisted features), and deciding whether a Product is appropriate for your needs.

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to software applications, templates, spreadsheets, documents, AI prompt collections, and other digital products provided by Guv1 Digital (collectively, our Products).

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, installing, or using a Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Product.

2. Licence to Use Our Products

When you purchase a Product, you receive a personal, single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that Product for your own personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, your licence allows you to:

Install and use the Product for your own use
Use the Product on devices that you personally control, subject to any Product-specific limitations

Your purchase does not transfer ownership of the Product or any underlying intellectual property. If you require additional users, team access, commercial redistribution rights, or another type of licence, please contact Guv1 Digital before use.

3. Restrictions on Use

Unless specifically permitted by Guv1 Digital, you may not:

Share, distribute, or publicly provide the Product to others
Sell, sublicence, rent, lease, or transfer the Product or your licence
Share licence keys, activation codes, download links, or registration information
Create and distribute copies of the Product
Use the Product to create a competing product for resale
Remove copyright, trademark, licensing, or ownership notices
Attempt to bypass licensing, activation, or security features
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify software except where permitted by applicable law

For Products such as templates, spreadsheets, documents, prompts, or other downloadable content, purchasing a Product does not give you the right to redistribute, resell, publish, or package that Product as your own.

4. Licence Termination and Enforcement

If you breach these Terms, including by sharing, redistributing, reselling, transferring, or otherwise misusing a Product or licence, Guv1 Digital may terminate your licence to use that Product. If your licence is terminated, you must stop using the Product, delete copies of the Product that you are no longer authorised to use, and you may lose access to updates, support, licence verification, or other services associated with the Product.

Where a Product uses licence registration or verification, Guv1 Digital may disable or revoke the affected licence credentials. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect our Products, intellectual property, and business interests.

5. Your Data

Many Guv1 Digital Products are designed to store user-created information locally on your own device. For Products that store data locally:

You control your information
We do not receive copies of your files
We cannot view your Product data
We cannot recover lost or deleted files
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups

6. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Some Products may be purchased, downloaded, or used through third-party platforms or services, including marketplaces, payment providers, or other technology providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, policies, and agreements. Guv1 Digital does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, security, privacy practices, or content.

7. AI-Assisted Features

Some Guv1 Digital Products may include AI-assisted features, such as suggested AI prompts, templates designed for use with AI tools, recommendations based on information you provide, and other productivity features involving AI. These features are designed to help you create useful outputs, but they are not an AI service unless specifically stated.

When a Product creates an AI prompt or suggestion:

You decide whether to use it
You decide what information to provide to any third-party AI service
You are responsible for reviewing the results

Guv1 Digital does not control third-party AI providers and is not responsible for AI-generated responses, accuracy of AI outputs, availability of AI services, or third-party AI privacy practices. AI-generated information may not always be accurate or complete. You should review and verify information before relying on it.

8. Updates and Product Changes

We may release bug fixes, improvements, compatibility updates, new features, and updated versions. Features may change between versions. Update availability depends on the Product and any update terms described at the time of purchase. Products may transition between lifecycle stages as described in our Product Lifecycle Policy.

9. Product Lifecycle

Products may move through different lifecycle stages, including Active, Maintenance, and Legacy. The definitions of these stages and what customers can expect are described in our Product Lifecycle Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All Guv1 Digital Products and related materials remain the property of Guv1 Digital or its licensors. This includes, where applicable, software, source code, templates, designs, documentation, text, graphics, branding, and other creative materials. Your purchase grants you a licence to use the Product. It does not transfer ownership.

11. No Professional Advice

Some Products may provide templates, calculations, suggestions, prompts, or informational content. These are provided for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice, including legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, or business consulting advice. You are responsible for reviewing information and deciding whether it is appropriate for your situation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We do not guarantee that a Product will meet every expectation, operate without errors, remain compatible with future systems or third-party services, or that information generated by a Product will always be accurate. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guv1 Digital will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of a Product, including where permitted by law: loss of data, missed occasions, loss of revenue, loss of profits, business interruption, or any other commercial or personal losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some limitations above may not apply to you.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the version number and "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of a Product after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
